China Boton Group was founded in 1991 in Shenzhen and was formerly known as Shenzhen Boton Flavors and Fragrances Co., Ltd. The Group was listed on the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2005 (Stock Code: 3318.HK). It is the first Chinese company in the flavor and fragrance industry that is listed in HKEX. After years of development, Boton has developed  four core business sectors, flavor and fragrance industry, E-cigarette industry, health industry as well as brand operation and management.

Currently, Boton Group owns more than 20 subsidiaries, including Shenzhen Boton Flavors and Fragrances Co., Ltd., Dongguan Boton Flavors and Fragrances Co., Ltd., Boton (Shanghai) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Boton Indonesia Flavors and Fragrances Co., Ltd., China Flavors and Fragrances (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Hubei Boton Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Yunnan Boton Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Huizhou Kimree Technology Co., Ltd., Kimree (South Korea) Co., Ltd., Kimsun Technology (Huizhou) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Huashang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Boton Property Management Co., Ltd., etc.

Boton Group owns several national high-tech enterprises, laboratories certified by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, provincial technology centers and a postdoctoral innovation practice base. Boton Group has established R&D platform and perfume chemistry doctoral teaching station together with more than 10 universities and institutions such as Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Agricultural University, South China University of Technology, Jiangnan University, Huazhong Agricultural University, Shanghai Institute of Applied Technology, etc. Senior technical staff account for 65% of the total employees. Meanwhile, the Group also become one of the enterprises for the formulation of industry standards. Some of the research projects that the Group is involved in have been awarded multiple honors in the realm of research such as Second Prize of National Science, Technology and Technology Progress Award etc. and obtained thousands of international PCTs and Chinese patents.

Boton Group has set up scientific and environmental-friendly production bases in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Hubei, Yunnan, Jiangxi, Huizhou etc. The business layout covers major provinces and cities in China such as Guangdong, Jiangxi, Hubei, Fujian, Henan, Anhui, Guizhou, Tibet etc., and has been expanded to various parts of the world including Southeast Asia, South Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe, North America etc.
